About us
LAIKA – Trost auf vier Pfoten e.V. (LAIKA – comfort on four paws e.V.) is a non-profit organisation that gives personal support during the mourning process. We focus on supporting children, adolescents and their families.
We’re located at an animal sanctuary „Gnadenhof Sentana“ in midst of nature and nearby the beautiful forest „Teutoburger Wald“. Through creative work, contact to the animals and personal counselings the children, adolescents and their families finds help and stability in times of trouble. They are allowed to be just the way they are. All the emotions, everything the person brings with them is welcome here.
The animals of the sanctuary help opening the hearts. They give comfort and they help feeling accepted and finding a new way of life in a world without the person or beloved animal that’s missing now. The social workers support the process.

Wir haben 121,50 € Spendengelder erhalten
Hallo liebe Spender, liebe Spenderinnen, mit deinem / eurem Beitrag habt ihr geholfen. Wir konnten Kinder in ihrer Trauer ein Stück beistehen, etwas Trost spenden und Mut machen einen ganz eigenen Weg mit der Trauer zu finden. In der Natur und auf dem Hof mit den Tieren, im kreativen Tun, sprechend und spielend, mal leicht und mal schwerer ... konnte die Seele Trost finden und Gemeinschaft und Freude stärkend erlebt werden. Danke für eure Hilfe!
