About us
The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) is an international non-profit organisation established in 2008 with offices in Leipzig and Frankfurt, Germany.
EAAD works with partners in 20 countries across Europe, North and South America, and Australia and New Zealand in the Asia Pacific. We aim to improve care and optimise treatment for patients with depressive disorders and to prevent suicidal behaviour.
EAAD achieves this aim by working with partners internationally to implement the evidenced-based 4-level intervention concept, a community based approach targeting depression and suicidal behaviour.
EAAD also implements with partners the multilingual iFightDepression®-tool, an online-based, guided self-management programme for people suffering from mild to moderate forms of depression and the iFightdepression® website, providing evidence-based information about depression and suicidal behaviour.

We received a payout of €3,533.82
The donations will be used to support the technical maintenance of the iFightDepresssion tool and website. This helps us keep the website up to date, translate it to new languages and keep the tool free to users (patients with mild to moderate depression).
