About us

The Bunte Gärten e.V. was founded in 2015 with the aim of bringing together refugees, newcomers and old residents in a green environment. We want to be a place that brings people together.

Whether Leipzigers or people from all over the world: we are open to everyone who enjoys gardening - or simply exchanging ideas with each other. There is space in our garden to sit, eat and play together. Everyone is welcome here, whether as a family with children or as an individual. We also organise different workshops and festivals.

From spring to autumn we meet every Saturday from 3 pm in the garden to talk to each other, relax and of course to garden. We enjoy growing organic vegetables and our insect-friendly flowering plantings. We welcome experienced people who are familiar with special cultivation methods or curious people who are interested in gardening together. We are looking forward to meeting you!
