Über uns
Die Mudita e.V. ist ein Verein aus Hamburg, der Hilfsprojekte in Myanmar unterstützt und selber aufbaut. Im Januar 2018 startete das Mudita Care Center am Inle See Myanmar. Im ersten Jahr entstand ein autarker Komplex für
mehr als 200 Kinder auf 12,5 Hektar Land innerhalb eines buddhistischen Klosters. Mit Hilfe von internationalen Volontären und Einbindung der lokalen Bevölkerung, entstand ein nachhaltiges Projekt, das auf lokalen Ressourcen basiert. Es ist ein Pilotprojekt und soll ein Vorbild in den Bereichen Bildung, Gesundheit und Ökologie sein.
In der Mudita Schule wurde ein neues Bildungskonzept eingeführt, das auf moderner Unterrichtspädagogik basiert.
Begonnen wurde mit einem Waldorfkindergarten, gefolgt von Computer- und
Englischunterricht. Mit Kunst und Musik wird die Kreativität der Kinder gefördert. Sport, Handwerk und ökologischer Landbau lassen sie die Natur verstehen und Lebenskompetenzen entwickeln. Das ist Bildung für Kopf, Herz und Hand.

This year marks another important milestone for Mudita School. We have welcomed a new primary class, expanded our high school program, and launched our new GED Prep Academy. Today, more than 120 children and young people are learning together at Mudita, creating a vibrant and diverse learning community. We are also proud to have introduced a completely new curriculum based on the Cambridge International framework. All classes are now taught in English and follow internationally recognized standards, helping our students prepare for future educational opportunities around the world. Alongside strong academic learning, we continue to emphasize project-based education, critical thinking, teamwork, and social responsibility. Our students regularly participate in community projects and activities that support refugee families in our region. Through these experiences, they learn not only academic skills but also compassion, leadership, and the importance of contributing positively to society.

Your donations make these opportunities possible. In addition to supporting teacher salaries, school rent, electricity, and daily operating costs, your contributions help us provide essential teaching materials such as exercise books, printed handouts, educational resources, teaching manuals, and classroom supplies. To maintain a modern learning environment, our classrooms are equipped with computers, laptops, internet access, monitors, whiteboards, and presentation tools that allow our teachers to create engaging and interactive lessons. These resources play an important role in delivering the high-quality education our students deserve.

We continue to work closely with international partner schools, educators, and volunteers from around the world. Together, we are building an international learning community that opens new horizons for children who have faced displacement, uncertainty, and limited access to education.
