Über uns
Die Mudita e.V. ist ein Verein aus Hamburg, der Hilfsprojekte in Myanmar unterstützt und selber aufbaut. Im Januar 2018 startete das Mudita Care Center am Inle See Myanmar. Im ersten Jahr entstand ein autarker Komplex für
mehr als 200 Kinder auf 12,5 Hektar Land innerhalb eines buddhistischen Klosters. Mit Hilfe von internationalen Volontären und Einbindung der lokalen Bevölkerung, entstand ein nachhaltiges Projekt, das auf lokalen Ressourcen basiert. Es ist ein Pilotprojekt und soll ein Vorbild in den Bereichen Bildung, Gesundheit und Ökologie sein.
In der Mudita Schule wurde ein neues Bildungskonzept eingeführt, das auf moderner Unterrichtspädagogik basiert.
Begonnen wurde mit einem Waldorfkindergarten, gefolgt von Computer- und
Englischunterricht. Mit Kunst und Musik wird die Kreativität der Kinder gefördert. Sport, Handwerk und ökologischer Landbau lassen sie die Natur verstehen und Lebenskompetenzen entwickeln. Das ist Bildung für Kopf, Herz und Hand.

At Mudita, education goes far beyond textbooks. Our students learn in a close-knit community where respect, responsibility, and mutual care are part of everyday school life. Most of them come from families facing ongoing uncertainty, and the stability of a warm, structured school environment plays a vital role in their development.

Through project-based learning, students practice skills they will need throughout their lives: working in teams, solving real-world problems, communicating clearly, and taking responsibility for shared tasks. In practical projects, they learn how to plan, reflect, and improve — whether in creative work, community activities, or small student-led initiatives that introduce them to basic social business ideas.

This year, we have also expanded our focus on life preparation. Our older students are now taking part in dedicated courses that support them in preparing for university pathways and future employment. They learn how to write applications, prepare for interviews, present their strengths, and understand what it means to work reliably and collaboratively in a professional environment.
