The association Climate Recharge 1850 e.V. would like to draw attention to the possibility of CO2 reduction by cultivation and management of Miscanthus on arable land in Germany. The association leases an area, establishes (plants) and manages Miscanthus. Soil samples are taken to prove how much CO2 is actually broken down on site. The entire project management of sampling, leasing, planting, marketing, etc. is taken over by the association. These costs amount to approximately 5000 € in the first year and 2000 € in the current 30 years.
