A project of the "Children's World Academy" foundations Germany and Thailand.

The Yaowawit Hospitality School & Lodge is a non profit organization that shelters 140children that are either orphans, extremely poor or have a difficult situation at home. We provide them with food, education, hospitality training and accommodation.

The Yaowawit School Kapong is a government accepted, charitable Boarding School for the poorest children in the South of Thailand. These children have suffered through the consequences of the Tsunami, who catalyzed illnesses or diseases such as Aids and established horrendous social conditions. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Sakri Sirindhorn opened the Boarding School housing in April 2005 for the first 80 children. Currently, the school holds around 140 students.

The project is financed solely by generous donations from engaging and supporting partners, sponsors, benefactors and friends. The foundations of "Children's World Academy" were established in Thailand and in Germany established for this project.

Both school and boarding school are exclusively run by Thais. The teachers are from the region and have an understanding of the children's needs. We do not only regard them as teachers but also as tutors, companions and coaches in all areas. We will also invite specialists for various disciplines like sport, art or English classes to Kapong in order to continually broaden our horizon.

"The Yaowawit School, Kapong is a community where the well-being and care of all people is our highest mission.
We pledge to provide a first-class education which helps children to become open-minded, confident, caring and happy human beings.
The Yaowawit School, Kapong benefits its neighbourhood and makes a positive difference in everybody's lives."
