About this project
TUM and the Association for the Promotion of the Deutschlandstipendium have accepted a MATCHING CHALLENGE.
To succeed in this challenge, there is only one condition - we must collect together at least a sum of 9000 euros for new scholarships by August 17. If we succeed, two co-donors will double every euro donated. According to the principle of the Deutschlandstipendium, the federal government will double this amount a second time, resulting in a total sum of at least 36,000 euros - which means that 10 more TUM students could already receive a Deutschlandstipendium.
The Challenge is a great opportunity to achieve maximum support with little effort. So let's use this chance together and show the co-donors how great the solidarity in our Deutschlandstipendium network is!
In which period can I donate?
The Matching Challenge only runs from June 22 to August 17, 2022, so your support is needed now!
What is the principle of the Deutschlandstipendium?
The Deutschlandstipendium is a scholarship program funded by the German government.
Each scholarship holder receives 300 euros per month. Half of this amount is paid by a (private) sponsor and the other half by the federal government.
What happens if we lose the Matching Challenge?
If we do not reach the sum of 9000 Euros, the collected donations will of course still be doubled by the government. In this case, however, the co-donors' contribution will not apply.
Who can I contact for questions about the Matching Challenge?
The board of the TUM Deutschlandstipendium-Förderverein can be reached at any time at vorstand@dstip-alumni-tum.org and also the Deutschlandstipendium team at deutschlandstipendium@tum.de.
