About us

The aim of our association is to preserve the history of the field railways in the Eisenberg area. There was extensive field and mine railway traffic in our immediate area. Both underground and above ground, the railways transported clay and sand between Hettenleidelheim, Eisenberg and Ramsen. Many of our vehicles and tracks come from this area and we keep them functional. In order to make this technology accessible to our interested visitors, we drive our passenger trains through the Stumpfwald every Sunday in the warmer months of the year.
