About us

Being able to start the final journey at home is our heartfelt project. That is why we have been committed to helping terminally ill children and young people for many years.

Since 2007 it has been law (§ 37b SGB V) that dying children and adults are entitled to palliative medical OUTPATIENT care AT HOME according to SAPV. For this purpose, so-called palliative care teams are formed. The following professional groups are bundled in these teams:

• Medical professionals with an additional specialty in palliative medicine (pain therapy)
• Oncologists
• General practitioners with appropriate additional training in the field of palliative medicine
• Nursing staff with appropriate additional training in the field of palliative medicine
• as well as physiotherapists, psychologists and pastors.

The central point in the work of a palliative care team is ensuring patient care is provided around the clock, 365 days a year. We support the two teams with over 750.000 € since our beginning.
