About us

The Dianiño Foundation was established in 2004 as a charitable foundation by its chairperson, Ingrid Binder.
For more than 15 years now, we have been successfully helping children with type 1 diabetes. With tireless dedication, we have managed to establish ourselves as a permanent fixture in the care of diabetic children and adolescents in the home environment throughout Germany.

We take care of children who have to come to terms with the diagnosis "diabetic" for the rest of their lives and who are often under additional strain due to their often socially difficult background. We stand by the children and strengthen them so that they can rediscover and experience their carefree childhood.

The great voluntary commitment of our Dianiño team gives the sick children a zest for life again. Whether it is after the drastic diagnosis or in extreme situations that place a heavy burden on the children's everyday lives. We work closely with the diabetes care teams.
