Our name is the concept...
Our Jewish educational center Pinot, in Hebrew: "building block" or "cornerstone", sensitizes the target groups to the topic of "anti-Semitism, racism, diversity and togetherness" and strengthens them in the formation of values as well as the promotion of intercultural and interreligious competence. Children, teenagers and young adults in particular are addressed, as they are often the target of anti-Semitic, racist and insulting comments or are themselves prejudiced against Jewish, Muslim or other minorities, as well as people with disabilities. Our concept is based on three pillars: Education, encounter and activism. In our events, we offer both theoretical and practical insights into topics such as anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination in general. We place particular emphasis on enabling our participants to become active themselves - whether through workshops or action days.
