About us
The Freundeskreis der Law Clinic an der Bucerius Law School e.V. is a non-profit association that supports the work of the Law Clinic. With the help of volunteer lawyers and on a voluntary basis, students of Bucerius Law School advise people without means seeking legal advice, especially on the topics of labor law, social law, residence law and family law.
Since 2019, in addition to the 'normal' legal advice, the Freundeskreis also supports the Abschiebehaftberatung Nord, which is a cooperation project between the Law Clinic of Bucerius Law School and the Refugee Law Clinics Hamburg and Kiel. In this project, the students themselves are involved in proceedings as "persons of trust" and can thus also act on their own behalf for those affected.

Erneut können wir ein stolze Summe für unser Projekt "Abschiebehaftberatung Nord" beantragen :) Danke an alle Spender*innen!
Nach wie vor betreuen wir Betroffene in der Abschiebehafteinrichtung Glückstadt bei ihrem haftrechtlichem Verfahren. Denn auch wenn es gerade noch den Pflichtbeistand in Abschiebehaftverfahren gibt, sehen wir, dass dieser mehr schlecht als recht funktioniert und es ehrenamtliches Engagement wie unseres braucht, damit in unserem Rechtsstaat der Zugang zu Recht für alle gwährleistet ist.
