About us
Dear donors,
As Berliner Obdachlosenhilfe e.V., we organise aid tours three times a week to central spots in Berlin namely Leopoldplatz, Alexanderplatz, Kottbusser Tor and Hansaplatz.
There we provide people in need with a hot meal, clothing and everyday necessities. In addition to this material help, we want to improve people's lives in the long term through dialogue and trust. Sometimes just a sympathetic ear and a friendly chat can help, but we can also advise our guests and put them in touch with suitable organisations on request. We advocate solidarity and acceptance of all lifestyles. This position should also be brought closer to society through increased public relations work.
Since 2021, two social workers permanently employed by the association have been supporting our guests and us in taking the next step. We are also trying to set up our own small housing project.

Wir haben 115.129,28 € Spendengelder erhalten
In der Kältehilfesaison sind wir einmal pro Woche mit einer zusätzlichen winterlichen Plattentour direkt zu Aufenthaltsorten obdachloser Menschen gefahren und haben diese mit Schlafsäcken, Zelten und warmem Essen versorgt. Daneben waren und sind wir natürlich weiterhin unabhängig von saisonalen Angeboten ganzjährig mit unseren Hilfstouren unterwegs.
Zusätzlich läuft seit inzwischen über einem Jahr jeden Freitagnachmittag unser Kiezcafé. Hier haben unsere Gäste Gelegenheit bei Tee/Kaffee und Kuchen gemütlich beisammenzusitzen, sich auszutauschen oder einfach mal abzuschalten. Dazu gibt es das Angebot zu duschen und Wäsche zu waschen.
Das Café ist auch ein offenes Angebot für den Kiez und schon von Anfang an kamen auch viele Menschen aus der Nachbarschaft, so dass das Publikum bunt gemischt ist.
