About us
Hospiz-Verein Bergstraße e. V. has been supporting seriously ill, dying, and grieving people in our region since 1994.
We accompany people at the end of life at home, in nursing homes, or in hospitals. We also offer grief support for children, teenagers, and adults, as well as counselling on advance directives and end-of-life decisions.
In addition, Hospiz-Verein Bergstraße e. V. is the sole shareholder of the Bergstraße inpatient hospice in Bensheim, where people can spend their final phase of life in dignity and with compassionate care.
A large part of our work is only possible thanks to donations. Especially services like grief support receive little or no public funding.
