About us
Since 1885, we have dedicated ourselves with great enthusiasm to demanding music.
Our educational offer for children, teenagers and adults is aimed at all ages.
From the age of 6 months, children are playfully introduced to music in the baby music garden. Music garden, music mice, music workshop and recorder courses round off the early musical education. This is followed by individual instrumental training with corresponding playing in the student and/or youth orchestra. DaCapo and Sonoro, two training orchestras for adults, round out the educational offerings. In the Bläserphilharmonie Durlach, which consists of about 50 active musicians, symphonic wind music at a high level is our goal.
The musical performances are mostly performed without entrance fees (e.g. SummerSerenade, TerrassenKonzert, concert in St. Peter and Paul).
We also regularly perform benefit concerts for the BNN foundation "Wir helfen".

Wir nutzen die erhaltenen Spenden zweckgebunden für unser Projekt "Musik öffnet die Herzen".
Darüber ermöglichen wir talentierten Durlacher Kindern, die aufgrund familiärer Umstände nur sehr erschwert oder gar nicht die Möglichkeit dazu gehabt hätten, die kostenfreie Ausbildung (als Stipendium) an einem Instrument. Damit ermöglichen wir Teilhabe an unserem regen Vereinsleben ebenso wie am gesellschaftlichen Leben allgemein. Die Freude und Dankbarkeit die uns von den Betroffenen dabei gespiegelt wird, unterstreicht das Engagement unserer Spender und unseres Projektes.
