About us

We aim to protect the permafrost and prevent the leakage of CO2, viruses and bacteria. To achieve this, the highly productive steppe-tundra ecosystem must be restored, with the help of large herbivores and through landscape optimization with special seeds. This ensures that the soil temperature remains permanently at about - 4°C and prevents thawing. Additional effects: CO2 sink and increased biodiversity. The Pleistocene Park is the only global project to reach the target.
