About us
"Wohlfühlhof Zeh" is a sanctuary for animals where former "dairy" cows can enjoy a peaceful and pain-free life. The sanctuary is currently home to 23 cattle, 9 cats, 7 goats, 5 ducks, and 10 chickens, who are allowed to spend the rest of their lives in respectful and safe care. Our animals do not have to serve any purposel, they do not have to perform, they are simply allowed to be.
Wohlfühlhof Zeh was founded in 2014 by Hans-Peter Zeh. It was originally a dairy farm. The term “livestock farming” alone troubled Hans-Peter throughout his life, until he decided to leave the business of exploiting animals. Instead, he started giving them the life they deserve: a life without suffering, but with respect, love, and empathy.
Every living being deserves respect and consideration. We are convinced that empathy towards animals makes the world a more meaningful, beautiful, and livable place – for everyone!
