About us
Eisvogel e.V. is a non-profit organization based in the German-speaking region, dedicated primarily to supporting people affected by leukemia or lymphoma, as well as their families – during treatment and beyond.
Our focus is on support and education, with the goal of offering courage and hope to those affected and their loved ones during this challenging time, while also providing a safe space for exchange and connection.
In our day-to-day work, we support people through a variety of services: personal counseling, events, workshops, our Eisvogel Packages, and digital formats.
The heart of our organization, however, is the Mentorship Program, which connects people currently undergoing treatment with those who have been through it themselves.
Our mentors offer their time, guidance, and a listening ear.
Having personally walked the path of illness, they stand beside those in need with empathy, compassion, and understanding.

Danke an jede einzelne Person, die das möglich gemacht hat! Heute stellen wir euch unser zweites Herzensprojekt vor: 💫 Die Eisvogel-Wochenenden Eine Auszeit vom Krebs. Ein Auftanken für die Seele. Unsere Eisvogel-Wochenenden sollen euch Betroffene und deren Angehörige helfen, den Kopf frei zu bekommen, Kraft zu schöpfen und wieder Freude zu empfinden. Ziel ist es, ihre mentale Gesundheit zu stärken.Denn auch wenn das Leben mit Krebs herausfordernd ist: Es darf trotzdem schöne Momente geben.
Und genau dafür sind wir da.
