Together Against Cancer – From a Meeting to a Movement
Cancer changes everything. Suddenly, nothing is as it was — and yet, out of that very pain, something new can grow. Something that connects.
That’s exactly what happened with Cedric. In 2018, at just 20 years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia — a diagnosis that shook everyone around him. But Cedric fought back. With the strength of his family, his friends, and the hope that healing was possible. Today, he is healthy — and he has chosen to give something back.
Through a mutual friend, Cedric found his way to us — to Eisvogel e.V.. Since then, he has been supporting others as a volunteer mentor, offering hope and encouragement to those affected and their loved ones. He listens. He inspires. He is simply there.
Cedric’s father, Holger, and Hans-Jürgen — better known together as “Die Autodoktoren” (The Car Doctors) — stood by him not only as family but also used their public platform to raise awareness about cancer. With heart, with integrity, and with genuine commitment.
In 2022, Die Autodoktoren and Eisvogel e.V. met in person for the first time. What followed is hard to put into words. It felt as if we had known each other forever. Since that moment, we’ve been united by more than just cancer — we’ve built a true friendship. ❤️ We laugh together. We cry together. But above all, we stand together.
We want to give cancer a face — and take the topic out of the shadows. Because cancer can affect anyone. That’s why we aim to raise awareness and inspire hope.
Our Fundraising Campaign – With Heart & a Charming Math Error
In one of Die Autodoktoren’s videos, where we also made an appearance, Holger said:
“20€ × 700,000 subscribers = 1.4 million euros.”
The math wasn’t quite right — but the idea was born.
What if every subscriber gave just a little?
🌟 As of May 2025, Die Autodoktoren have 826,000 subscribers.
🌟 826,000 × 1€ = 826,000€
🌟 5€ per person? That’s over 4 million euros. 🤯
That’s the power of many coming together. A small donation from each person can create something truly big. Every euro counts.
What will your donation support?
We stand beside people affected by leukemia or lymphoma — and their families and friends — offering counseling, workshops, lovingly assembled Eisvogel care packages, and our heart project: the Mentorship Program. In this initiative, we connect people currently battling cancer with survivors who understand — on equal footing, with empathy, time, and hope.
Thank you — from the heart.
Everything we’ve achieved in recent years has only been possible because people like you have stood by our side. Now we want to take the next step — with you.
