Dear esteemed donor,You are receiving this update because, over the past five months, you made a donation toward Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche’s new project: the future home of Kindful Wisdom – Schloss Kremsegg.

First of all, we would like to thank you from the heart for your initial support. Your donation has helped this special place begin to come alive, step by step.At the end of March, the local team received the keys to this truly wonderful place, where an educational center with a private university, a school, and a cultural institution is going to take shape. Since then, so much has happened: countless hours of work, dedication, and joyful “refreshing” have gone into the rooms. Everything has been aired out, cleaned, cared for, and furnished with beautiful old furniture — and little by little, the castle has regained its dignity, warmth, and liveliness.

By the end of the month, the moment had already come: Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche arrived at the castle, received the key, and held a first short seminar there — a beautiful trial run for the upcoming opening.

The seminar was deeply inspiring for everyone present. One could clearly feel how well this place fits Rinpoche’s vision. The rooms, the spacious grounds, the peaceful atmosphere, and the special presence of the castle all seem perfectly suited for a university and a place of learning, inner development, and meaningful encounter. Many participants were deeply moved by how natural everything felt — as if this place had long been waiting to be reopened for exactly this purpose.

Rinpoche also seemed verypleased, and the whole team was filled with joy and gratitude. The first impression was very clear to everyone: Schloss Kremsegg has the potential to become an extraordinary place for study, practice, culture, and community.

Now the team is preparing intensively for the official opening. There is still much to organize, coordinate, and prepare so that this next important step can unfold well. As soon as the date is fully confirmed, we will of course let you know.
