About us

The German AIDS Foundation has been committed to helping people with HIV and AIDS since 1987. We are committed to ensuring that those affected receive support, acceptance, and participation, and that no one is discriminated against because of their HIV diagnosis.

In Germany, we support projects that facilitate encounters, prevent isolation, and provide concrete assistance, such as housing, leisure and educational opportunities, and low-threshold counseling and testing options. Internationally, we stand alongside strong partners such as HOPE Cape Town and DREAM in Africa. There, we support programs that give children, young people, and families access to HIV testing, treatment, information, and education.

We are also committed to research, education, and prevention in order to detect HIV early, prevent further infections, and continuously improve life with HIV.
