30 Years of Commitment: Hope and Opportunities for the People of Uganda

Over Three Decades of Support
For more than 30 years, the circle of friends has worked tirelessly to ensure that help and support reach those who need it most.

An Inspiring Beginning
Our colleague Elisabeth Mwaka and her local team laid the foundation by building a hospital.

Thanks to their dedication and the support of our donors, the following were later established:

A preschool
A primary school
A secondary school
The Butiru Christian College was founded.

A Place of Learning and Growth

Today, around 2,500 children attend the Butiru Christian College.
The primary and secondary schools have evolved into model schools in eastern Uganda, thanks to modern facilities and high standards.
Support for the Most Vulnerable

Assistance for orphans and children from impoverished families.
Launch of a microcredit program for women, providing seed capital to start their own businesses.
