About us
In Myanmar, Bolivia or Zimbabwe, peace is often not a given. With 39 partner organisations, we support people around the world in standing up for peace and better living conditions. World Peace Service (WFD) is politically and religiously independent. Since 1959, we have been working as a non-profit organisation in crisis regions. As one of seven sending agencies in Germany, we implement projects of the Civil Peace Service (CPS).
We strengthen organisations that resolve conflicts non-violently, secure resources and protect human rights. We support grassroots projects of local partners in long-term cooperation to create peaceful living conditions. We provide peace and development workers to work as equal team members in the project. Our methods include peace committees, theatre of the oppressed and peace radio.

Wir haben 213,84 € Spendengelder erhalten
Mit den Spendengeldern haben unsere Partnerorganisationen in Myanmar in der akuten Notsituation lebensnotwendige Sachen wie Nahrungsmittel, Medizin, Hygieneartikel und Trinkwasser besorgt. Außerdem wurden Baumaterialien angeschafft, um zerstörte Häuser wieder aufbauen zu können.
