About us

Bintumani D-SL German-Sierra Leone Society e.V. is a non-profit association which was established in 1998 by representatives of both countries. Our aim is to enhance the relations between Germany and Sierra Leone on an interpersonal basis, but also regarding projects and institutions. Relying on humanitarian aid and exchange of experience we mainly focus our work on the following aspects:
Health, development assistance, education, renewable energies, agriculture, handicraft and cultural exchange.Besides official members, Bintumani lives from the commitment of numerous volunteers. Doctors and engineers, teachers and students, employees and retirees – all sorts of different people driven by the same intention. The intention to help.
