About us
Our goal is to help young people in rural India break the poverty spiral. To do this, we show them what alternatives there are to day wages and factory work. Our approach - similar to German vocational training - is to teach technical content at school and practical skills through practical projects with local companies. In doing so, we focus on ecologically sustainable job profiles and business models.
We are a non-profit association based in Frankfurt am Main. On a trip through rural India, Joris, one of our founders, got to know the work of an Indian organization that develops creative school concepts. Inspired by this idea, our association Be!Fund Förderverein e.V. and the project "#karmaheld" were born in 2014. Together with our project partner in India, who has over 30 years of experience, we grow year by year. Right now we are bringing our school program into schools and curricula in the south of India.

Wir haben 1.865,70 € Spendengelder erhalten
Dank eurer Unterstützung können wir jetzt weitere Schulbücher für staatliche Schulen im indischen Bundesstaat Bihar finanzieren. Mit den eingegangenen 1.865,70 Euro stellen wir rund 460 Schulbücher bereit.
Die Bücher unterstützen Schülerinnen und Schüler dabei, im Unterricht nachhaltige Geschäftsideen zu entwickeln – von der ersten Recherche bis zum eigenen kleinen Businessplan.
