About us
Helping Hamburg's socially disadvantaged young people is a matter close to the heart of the Kultur Palast Hamburg foundation. Music educates; as a universal language, it enables communication and shared experience. That is why we have launched numerous musical support programs with great passion in the past years. Because only education enables equal opportunities and thus a fair start in life.
With our projects we strengthen the self-confidence and identity of children and young people who, due to their social background, do not receive much education. With the "Klangstrolche" even the smallest ones are introduced to musical instruments and educational content in a playful but systematic and well-founded manner. They are introduced to classical music as well.
Young people are trained as young talents in the "HipHop Academy" and celebrate their first successes on stage.

Vielen Dank für die großartige Unterstützung der HipHop Academy Hamburg. Sie ermöglicht den jugendlichen Nachwuchstalenten eine systematische und nachhaltige Talentförderung. Im letzten Jahr ist es uns mit dieser Unterstützung gelungen, den talentierten Students und Künstler*innen – trotz der herausfordernden Situation – diverse Angebote und eine Bühne zu bieten. Im Rahmen des Billstedter Sommerlebens und der Ferien-Camps, bei unseren Terrassenkonzerten und im Dezember in Form von Auftritten in unserem digitalen Kultur-Adventskalender. Vielen Dank!
