Puente Nica
Educational and cultural association for European-Nicaraguan relations
Since 2008, a number of volunteers have been spending time in Nicaragua, working in "La Casita del Árbol", a small library project offering a variety of free services to the public. After returning home, many volunteers were looking for a way to continue to support this and other projects in Nicaragua. This was the beginning of Puente Nica.
Our goals are:
•Support for educational and cultural projects in Nicaragua thorugh financial aid and volunteers
•Scholarships for educational and cultural purposes for young, talented and socially committed Nicaraguans.
•Promotion of intercultural exchange. We offer young, talented and socially committed Nicaraguans the possibility to do a paid voluntary service in Europe, during which they get to know a new culture and learn a new language.

Jeyren konnte dank der Spenden einen Deutschkurs beginnen. Er erhält jetzt einmal in der Woche Unterricht an der Deutschen Schule in Managua.
