About us
Handicap International / Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is a non-profit organisation for humanitarian action and development assistance, active in over 60 countries around the world. We aspire to a world of solidarity and inclusion. We strive to sustainably improve the situation of persons with disabilities and support those in need of specific protection. Furthermore, we advocate for a world without cluster bombs and mines, as well as for the protection of civilians in war. HI is a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Price of 1997. Handicap International e.V. is the German association of the HI.

Unser Ziel ist simpel, aber überlebenswichtig: Wir bringen die Menschen wieder auf die Beine. Wir wollen, dass ein Vater wieder stehen und eine Mutter ihre Kinder selbst versorgen kann.
Wir bauen Prothesen und Gehhilfen, damit Menschen mit Amputationen wieder stehen und gehen können. Unsere Patienten lernen alltägliche Bewegungen vom Aufstehen bis zum selbstständigen Gehen neu. Rechtzeitige Physiotherapie verhindert lebenslange Behinderungen, chronische Schmerzen und Deformationen. Psychologische Betreuung hilft, auch die seelischen Wunden zu heilen.
Danke, dass ihr uns dabei helft. Mit eurer Spende finanziert ihr z.B. das Material für eine Krücke, die Ausbildung eines lokalen Physiotherapeuten oder die dringend benötigte Therapie für ein Kind.
