International Childrens' Advocate, Inc.

managed by A. Menor

About us

The International Children’s’ Advocate, Inc., also known, as Nino’s Pag-Asa Center, is a non-profit organization established to help provide the special needs of impoverished, malnourished, and sick children and young adults with disabilities and with deformities. It is located at Zone 13, Mulawin Lane, Old Cabalan, Olongapo City, 2200

The organization facilitates the enrollment of beneficiaries who are capable of attending regular classes in a public school institution where they could also get MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, PROPER EDUCATION and REHABILITATION.

With the absence of institution in Olongapo City and nearby towns and provinces that should provide the needs of children and young adults with disabilities, our organization, for more than 30 years now, has extended assistance to numerous abandoned, neglected and abused children and young adults.

We have been providing shelter, medical assistance and education especially to children who we found roaming around the city, neglected by their parents who are either not capable to handle children with disabilities or who lack money to raise them.

The continued presence of these needy children inspires us to strengthen and widen the reach of our project. Currently, aside from our ward of deaf children, we have under our care Aldrin, Johnvee, Alex and Joemarie consist with different cases and stories.

However Joemarie has different case among others, He was left by his biological mother in the hospital, when he was admitted to the center on May 13. 2007. Minor can’t manage to take care of himself, cant’ utter any words, he only response when he hear his name. Joemarie grew up in the center with full of attention love, care and he feels he has found his family with us.

We believe that if given proper care and attention and provided skills and education, these children could overcome their disabilities and develop as productive individuals.

The very reason why we implemented this project which aims to help these children suffering from abused to improve their situation and to give them the chance for a better future.
To achieve this dream the blind child needs to go to school:

a. Education of one blind for one year $ 573.00
b. Food and daily needs of the child
At the orphanage for $4.75 a day $1,733.75

I triggered a payout for these needs:

  A. Menor  19 January 2015 at 04:10 PM

The money will be divided for the salary of the house mother, for the education and food of the children.

Part of the requested donation will be used to pay  the salary of our house mother. She is working hard 24/7 and her salary is not enough for the work she is doing to  take care our children in the orphanage. It is also a big help for the daily food of our children specially now that we have 3 new children admitted in the orphanage. This money can be used to buy additional rice, vegetables and others.

The money for education will be use to pay their miscellaneous expenses,  school supplies and extra uniforms or costume if they are included in school activities.

We would like to thanks the Betterplace.org staff and administration for the help you have done to us specially to Mr. Niko Glasow for his donation.

We hope for your kind approval on our request for payout.

Sincerely,

Araceli
