About us

Aktion Pro Afrika e.V." (APA-Germany) is committed to helping Africa. We have been active in Mali since 2007.

We consider education and health to be the keys on the way out of poverty. Therefore, we focus on supporting health and education institutions. We make sure that this aid particularly benefits women and children. The principle of helping people to help themselves determines our actions. The project proposals are developed in Africa and realised with our African partners. The work in Germany as well as in Africa is voluntary.

"Aktion pro Afrika" has a local partner organisation in Mali:
"Action pour Afrique-Mali" (APA-Mali). It is a registered non-governmental organisation in Mali No. 0170/ G-DB of 24.08.2007.

We understand our support as a piece of solidarity with the people of Mali, as a support for a positive change in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
