About us

For many children, play, learning, and carefree living are natural. For those in crisis regions or disadvantaged areas, they are not. KuKuk Kultur e.V., founded in 2010, creates artistic playgrounds and cultural spaces with young volunteers from Germany and local communities worldwide. These projects foster not only unique places for children but also encounters that build understanding and togetherness.
Schools and volunteers put their heart into planning, funding, and building. The reward: proud achievements and the priceless joy of children filling these spaces with laughter.

Our work combines creativity, art, and social engagement. Using artistic methods, we design playgrounds that go beyond play to offer cultural and aesthetic experiences. Intercultural exchange is central: international volunteers and local families create together, turning every project into a bridge between cultures.
