About us
PANUVES e.V. is a registered non-profit association that was founded in the town of Wittlich, Rheinland-Pfalz, in 2004.
Our overarching mission is to support and create new development opportunities and a safe space for children in Latin America through continuous financial support. Children and young people in Latin America are confronted with poor living conditions that are often characterized through the lack of everyday necessities and the lack of educational opportunities. With our financial support in these areas, we help them to help themselves.
Since our foundation, PANUVES e.V. provides ongoing support for the children’s home “Carlos de Villegas”. The children’s home was founded in 1909 as a charitable institution by Carlos de Villegas. After a while, it has been taken over by the Catholic sisters of the order "Sisters of the Love of God" and has been run by them ever since.
As we want to remain true to our values, we reduce all administrative costs to the bare minimum. Since our foundation, these amount to a total of 0.62 %.
