About us
Asedaye e.V. is a German non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people in Dormaa Ahenkro, Ghana. Through our Asedaye family programme, we enable children in need to attend school, receive regular meals and access medical care.
Founded in 2006 by three volunteers, Asedaye works closely with its local partner, Asedaye N.G.O. Ghana. All members in Germany work on a voluntary basis, and support is provided directly through schools, healthcare providers and our community centre rather than as cash payments.
In addition to our sponsorship programme, we carry out community projects in education, sports, health and hygiene. We also build and repair wells to improve access to safe drinking water, making everyday life safer and healthier for children and their families.

Zwei Teil-Aktionen sind finanziert!
Die Jubiläums-Exkursion für die Asedaye family ist gesichert. Mit 300€ Unterstützung aus der Community fühlt sich die Planung direkt besser an. Die Asedaye family wird in die Hauptstadt Accra fahren und dort unter anderem das ghanaische Parlament besuchen, um hautnah etwas über gegenwärtige Politik in Ghana zu erfahren.
Für das 2 tägige Sport-Fest für Mädchen konnten wir den Zielbetrag von 500€ sammeln. Das Fest wird kurz vor Weihnachten stattfinden.
