I find it sensational that 650 Euros have been collected for this good cause and thank you very much for your support of my ultracycling-fundraiser for children with cancer!

Unfortunately i couldn't ride to the finish and had to make the difficult decision to end my tour prematurely on day 3. To be honest, it was very difficult for me.

After days of rain and cold and long hours on the bike, my body reached its limit. The pain got too intense and i just couldn't continue safely. It's disappointing but that's also part of ultracycling: knowing when to stop.

but "after ultracycling is before ultracycling" and i'm looking forward to the next event in july with hopefully better weather!
