The "new" normal

Greetings to everyone from SINA.

This weekend we were able to distribute our essential supply packages to families that are practicing Ramadan. Together with the Imam of a mosque in Mpigi District, we identified families in need. Especially during Ramadan, the lack of access to food is leading to immense challenges putting a lot of pressure on the heads of families. Thank you very much for your generous support!!!

The government of Uganda intends to prolong the lockdown until every citizen has received a quality mask distributed by the government. Currently, they are estimating that it will take around two more weeks until public and private transport will be allowed. We are very much looking forward to moving closer to the new normal. Especially for people working in the informal sector, the allowance of transport will be a considerable relief to generate income. 

We have added quality masks to our essential supply package produced by GEJJA Women Foundation due to the mandate to wear a mask in public.
