Dear Supporters,
Thank you very much to all of you for your loyal and valuable support! In the past two months – August and September – we have received a total of 295 euros in donations via Betterplace. We are deeply grateful for every single contribution! Our balance for August and September: In these two months, we were able to welcome a total of 53 Holocaust survivors and members of the 2nd generation at nine personal meetings.
One moment in particular remains in our memory:
On August 7, we had eight Holocaust survivors as guests in our home – six of them were there for the first time. There was so much to share, tell and listen to. The exchange with two of our young German volunteers was particularly moving. They spoke openly about their own great-grandfathers, who served the Nazi regime at the time and were in the SS or Wehrmacht. The fact that their great-grandchildren have chosen a completely different path today and stand wholeheartedly by the side of Israel and the survivors has touched everyone deeply.

How you can help: To ensure that we can continue to make these encounters possible in the coming months, we would be very pleased if you would share our project in your network. With 35 euros, you enable exactly one Holocaust survivor to participate in such a meeting – including on-site support, food and travel expenses. Thank you for making these important meetings and reconciliation possible! Best Regards,
