Newsletter 2026, May

Dear supporters and friends,
For us, April was a month of both relief and profound encounters. While the rocket attacks paused due to a ceasefire, we were able to use this time for what is closest to our hearts: inviting Holocaust survivors to our "March of Life House."

Our Review of April:

• 3 precious meetings took place.
• 10 Holocaust survivors were welcomed into our home.
• 110 Euro in faithful monthly donations were received – a heartfelt thank you for this! This already covers 10% of our monthly costs for these vital gatherings.

A Moment That Moved Us Deeply
We were particularly touched by a shared meal between the generations. One survivor shared childhood memories of the extreme hunger during their evacuation to Siberia. Into the silence that followed, our German volunteer spoke brave words: she shared the story of her great-grandfather, who was in the SS, and asked the survivors present for forgiveness for the actions of her ancestors.It was a moment of healing. A testament to the fact that reconciliation is possible when we listen to one another and speak the truth.
