Eyambeko Education fund was started by Mr Maier Reinhard in 2011 and is a sponsorship program for supporting the less fortunate children from socially deprived families and/or difficult life situation. We provide long-term sustainable support to enable the children to obtain a university degree or another form of vocational training. The project is especially intended to address the problems of children especially in terms of health and education needs.
Eyambeko already supported more than 60 children and youths with their education. The first children to be sponsored have grown to young adults since, and achieved what eyambeko is working to offer, the best graduation possible.
At the moment Eyambeko is of plan to set up a Day Care Project in Grootfontein that will benefit the vulnerable children that are dropping out of school due to teenage pregnancy, no / no proper school uniforms, alcohol abuse, no proper counselling and many other factors.
With the establishment of a home for the homeless, distressed school going children. The project will be established in Grootfontein – Namibia , Blikkiesdorp where most vulnerable children are residing in the town because this is the place drought has striking the community severely and diseases like malaria and HIV/AIDS have affected community severely.
How do we want to achieve this:
- Project Activities
- Pay School fees, buy school uniforms and other scholastic materials.
- Identify and register orphans
- Take their pictures
- Update their profiles
- Give them nutrition meal
- Wash school uniforms
- Assist with school homework
To support the achievement of our objective, the set up and construction of our Day Care would require the following funding:
- Construction materials: 15,000 EUR
- Equipments and machinery: 7,000 EUR
- Labour Costs: 8,000 EUR
- Communications: 60 EUR
- Transport: 300 EUR
Every donation independent of the amount is a big help in achieving to support the less fortunate children to obtain education and a (university) degree.
Thank you so much!
