Roger Waters supporting Cinema Jenin Project

I first met Mr. Roger Waters in Berlin, at the Cinema for Peace Gala, where the documentary "Heart of Jenin" won the Peace Film award. After speaking with him, at the Cinema for Peace Gala, Mr. Waters emailed me about his interest in the project. He called me up to see how he could help. He offered financial support and asked if there was anything else he could do. He told me " I want to be involved in this project in some way". I suggested, it would be of great help if he came to Jenin to see what the project is about. I felt it was important that he meets the people involved and spend some time getting to know them personally. I told him that it would be great if he would talk to people he knows about his experience and his involvement in the Cinema Jenin project. He agreed and he is making plans to be there in the near future. "I'm very pleased to have met you and Ismael, and I'm looking forward to sharing with you a peaceful and productive future", he said.
