The Project started in 2009 at kajulu Ghita Village in the larger Kisumu rural,nyanza Province in kenya.
The Organization Genesis was a result of the Philanthropic heart ot the Director who got touched by the plight of victims she interacted with during normal lfe pursuits.From meagra family servings,she managed to touch lives by assisting victims who their plights were deplorable.As she endeavoured to consistently partook of this,more of similar cases caught her attention and necessitated need to partnerwith other well wishers and seek sponsers to deal with the myriad of needs againest a backdrop of swelling numbers.It was at this point that N.P.C.B.O was founded.
N.P.C.B.O consist of the Director and three volunteers who were previously beneficiaries from the Org.in one way or the other.
The project benefits the surrounding Ghita and Kano communities,Educational institutions of some of the beneficiaries and the local administration at large.At Inceptinon,N.P.C.B,O has 15No.elderly women(who are widowed and have no next of kin to care for them,residing in dilapidated houses),over 50 OVCs under the age of 12years,4No. tennage Orphan girls who have recovered from sexual abuse and 4No. tennage mothers who are ready to go back to school.
Some of the benefits/beneficiaries derive from N.P.C.B.O include the rewarding returns from the small scale income generating activities NPCBO empowers them to engage, feeding programmes which improves the health status of the children .education schemes beneficiaries with the knowledge base and analytical skills in school to handle challenges of the present world.
Cardinal challenges to the Org.is dealing with the ever expanding trend of the numbers of prospective beneficiaries.
The national will surely benefit from the endeavours of npcbo since in asmall way, at the village level,attempts to provide the basic for a healthy,educated and skilled populace tooled to deal with the millennium challenges.
