    Über das Projekt

    R. Ryakitimbo von Ikizu Bible group (IBG) ist für dieses Projekt verantwortlich
Approximately 2000 poor farmer of Mpaji Sector in Chanikakofi Village do not have any means of agro – energy for income or that which support their livelihood. Energy sources such as small diesel engines, solar dryers, wind generators, small hydropower schemes, biomass gas fires or rural electrification programmes are non – existent.
95% of energy needs of poor Mpaji communities are met by “non –commercial” energy sources, firewood, COW dung and agricultural waste. The desperate state of livelihood of these people is seen through the extensive use of firewood and wood fuel leading to large – scale Environmental problems including

    • Deforestation,
    • Soil erosion,
    • Loss in soil fertility
    • Climate change, etc.
In spite of a belief of being marginalized, these poor communities are confined to small – scale cultivation of one to two acres per household, which for decades did not exonerate them from poverty. At least 1, 118 people struggle to survive using dwindling resources from such small agricultural fields. There is no any reliable clean water for drinking or for crop watering. As a result, hunger and malnutrition remain chronic in many small communities of the Mpaji Sector
Food security – the physical and economic access to food for all people at all times depends not only on the availability of food, but on its affordability.
Consequently, IBG thought it necessary to revolutionize this attitude cycle through agro – irrigation for increased productivity which requires energy as a means to drive the process.

Thats where our need is focused, the cost for obtaining a four-stroked-cycle generator with relative technologies is Tanzanian shillings 41,400,000/= and comprise of:

    -Diesel Generator 45KVA 3PH 23,300,000
    -Battery charger ignition starter 6,000,000
    -Manual changeover switch 200,000
    -All std accessories 1,390,000
    -Transportation to site 1,800,000
    -Installation costs 1,000,000
    -Agro-infrastructure power connections 1,200,000
    -Energy orientation programmes 600,000
    -Data Base Computer 700,000
    -Smart phone-remote command 800,000
    -Lightning Diffusion system 1,300,000
    -Power stabilizer 1,500,000
    -Power cut-out Device 600,000
    -Power Supply meter 550,000
    -Lighting systems 500,000
It will only cost Tanzanian shillings 41,400,000 to provide support services for 112 poor farmers(593 individuals) achieve self sufficiency.Kindly help us to reach our goal-donate now!
