Dear Intiwawa community,

Many thanks for your ongoing support which keeps our activities running! Read on to find out what we have been doing over the last few weeks:

Dental Health Clinic:

Thanks to a partnership with the clinic Paz Holandesa, all of our students and their siblings had the opportunity to participate in a free dental clinic! In cases where a child needed a follow up appointment, a local university provided low-cost care options.

With the donations from the Intiwawa community, we were able to buy toothbrushes for all of our students, and they now brush their teeth every day at program!

Greenhouse Project:

Every Friday, Intiwawa students walk to the Intiwawa greenhouse at a nearby partner farm! They plant and grow vegetables like lettuce, onion, beets, and chard. When it's time to harvest, students bring the vegetables back to Intiwawa to make healthy dinners, and the leftovers get sent home to their families!
