Greetings from Divine Offspring Mercy Ministries Uganda
Divine Offspring Mercy Ministries Uganda is fully Registered, with focus to the needs of the poor "Caring for the Least, the Last and the Lost" offering hope physically and spiritually. We exist to provide life essential services that restore dignity and hope to people in need” found in (Isaiah 60:1). A future with Divines, Making sustainable development a reality-through empowerment, promotion of Child Care, socioeconomic development, justice, Health care, Education, Agriculture and the relief of poverty by challenging and changing those practices that generate and sustain poverty among the OVCs, Youth, women and the community. Our purpose is to foster community sustainable development among the poor especially OVCs.
The Programme
We work primarily in Soroti District in Uganda, in order to build self-reliance, Education and Health of OVCs. DOMMU is dedicated to serve the poorest and most disadvantaged segment of society and giving them the love, care and an environment to achieve excellence, a significant impact is be made. As we raise these children with elevated standards and expectations, they become the top segment of the same society from which they came.
No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure
In our organisation we are having OVCs with special case like life-threatening illnesses, Learning difficulties, walking difficulties and we are looking for partners to enable this children make their wish come true!
We Honour our “CHILDREN WISH” especially OVCs under the age of 18,by closely monitoring them on the today bases, Fulfilling their interests, loving and caring for them and above all making them happy regardless of religion or tribe. We call upon your support to enables this children get their wish.
We also have Two acres of land ready to be used for children Education and all humanity Structure (Orphanage Home) development and we are looking for Support from developing partners, Volunteers Donors and Friends of Development like you to help us reach out to the vulnerable communities in Teso sub-region
NEED: Our current argent needs are:
• Classroom structure to support education for children in difficult circumstance
• Funds to Build orphans Home
• Also we need scholarships for children
• Food and nutrition support
• Medical support facility
• Water facility
• Skills development facility
MISSION: To provide an Environment where OVCs are able to heal and grow physically and spiritually through Caring relationships, Unconditional Love and Acceptance.
VISION:
To promote Total development of Vulnerable Children through, Education, Health, love, Compassion with nutrition, social interaction and spiritually connect them with all humanity for Equal justice.
