Dear Friends,

We are happy to update you on the school progress.

Three students and I will participate in “Bhutan-Sacred Art of the Himalayan” at the Rietberg Museum in Zurich from 22nd September till 7th October. We will be demonstrating carving, painting and embroidery in the exhibition. This trip is sponsored by Fontana Foundation, Switzerland. Please see the photo of the participants in the photo section.

Kanjur Lingkor ( Kanjur meaning 108 volumes of Buddha’s teachings script).

Coinciding the auspicious day of the first Sermon of Lord Buddha on 15th July, the people of Kabesa mark the day by taking these holy scripts on their back and going around all the village chanting mantras, blesses people who passes by and this is for the benefit of people living in Kabesa for peace and good health and to wish for considerate weather for good harvest.

Our school also participated in this program by offering tea and juices to the people. This program was held in CTAS in front of Guru Rinpoche Statue. We have updated some picture of this on the photo section.

CTAS products are available on Ebay online.  To see some of our products on sale please visit https://worldofgood.ebay.com (select Art category and then click on Drawing & painting).
