We keep working at the Mediterranean Sea for some more weeks

As the seasonal weather conditions turn out to be better than expected for this time of the year, together with Lifeboat, we decided to prolong our SAR-Mission with the Minden until the end of October.

Every day, many people still seek their way to Europe on totally crowded and badly equipped rubber boats to reach the Italian coast line. Many boats don't even make it one tenth of the way to the European mainland. Without nautical equipment they are bound to wander about the Mediterranean See until they run out of fuel or water, or their boat gets capsized by waves. We will continue to do everything in our power to help these people fleeing from expulsion, hunger and death.
