GRAIN is a small international non-profit organisation that works to support small farmers and
social movements around the world in their struggles for community-controlled and biodiversity-based food systems.
We need your help to maintain and strengthen our work. A vital part of what we do is the materials we produce, which are available to all – free of charge. These include our reports (recent publications have analysed the growing concentration of land worldwide, reported on resistance to GMOs in Mexico and exposed the shady characters behind a Senegalese landgrab) and our Against the GRAIN series – shorter, topical publications on subjects like agrotoxins, seed laws, and corporate expansion into food systems. We also play a key role in producing the quarterly magazine Biodiversidad.
All of this output of course costs money to produce, but is available for free to everyone who needs it. You can help us keep it this way by becoming a FrOG – a Friend of GRAIN – and making a donation.
The Friends of GRAIN are a community of people interested in strengthening GRAIN's work. Your regular donations will help ensure that we continue to thrive as an independent, user-supported organisation, belonging to the people and movements we serve.
Friends of GRAIN each receive a copy of our annual activity report.
And all Friends of GRAIN will also be invited to participate in an annual teleconference with the staff, when they may ask questions, share suggestions and concerns, learn more about us or just spend an hour with GRAIN.
We would like you to commit to making a regular donation to support and extend our work. We are asking you to commit to making a regular donation of 10 euros – that could be monthly, quarterly, annually… You can contribute any amount.
