NAROK CHRISTIAN OF LOVE ORPHANAGE CENTER IS NON-GOVERNMENTAL
Organization that seeks to provide safety and stability to the otherwise tumultuous life in Kenya orphans and street children. We are committed to ensuring the children and their caregivers have access to food medical care as well as creative recreational and educational opportunities. We have two active projects feed Narok orphans and street children. Body and soul and build Narok love orphanage center home. This project compliment each other helping the children learn about responsibilities of growing up and importance of self sustainability.
In the last 3 years the number of children spent their majority their time on the street. This children are sometimes stigmatized and isolate with the community, living them vulnerable to large and health, legal and psychosocial issue. Some of this children work on street on collecting rubbish, begging for food, and some have engaged in drug abuse and prostitution. In 2011 we came up with a solution to solve the problem facing them. To make better chance for better future. In order to meet our goal to assist them we need to lay an important foundation this children need special needs to assist them to live better life to attain education like the other people in the community. Currently we managed to have a school for them. This school currently learns from baby class to low primary. From standard 1-5, we intend to construct more classes for them. For the 100 children we have 10 of them are in secondary school. The total school fees for the a year is 2550€ per year.
We have 60 children in low primary school who need school materials e.g. uniform, books, pen, pencils each child cost 12€ per term the total full year cost is 2307 € per annul. If we manage it we will attain our goal. The other 40 children are in baby class who need more care; Medical care, good balanced food diet 15€ per day, in annual it cost 2306 €. The class we have are not enough we need to build 2 more classes and to finish the current one and to put windows, doors. We need iron sheet, cement, and masonry expert and laborers each class will cost 2564 €. Complete construction the total of the two classes will cost 5128 €. If we manage to have the amount our project will run smoothly. These children will have better life in future and lead us in the community. We have the staff care for those children all in total are 12 in number some are teachers and other matron care for the children under 5 years we pay them 42 € each every month.
Water used for clothes washing and food preparation we use 60,000 liters for one month. The cost per month is 25€, the total cost annually 300€. We ask you for your donation to support the project.
