Here's to 100 more, gift the EYP experience to those who can’t afford it!

The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is one of Europe’s largest and most dynamic platforms for youth empowerment, informal education, and intercultural exchange. Since 1987 it offers young people new skills, knowledge and lifelong friendships that transcend borders.

In 2024 the EYP reached its 100 International Sessions milestone. With a proud network of accomplished alumni, our community is a testament of our impact, where thousands share the feeling that the EYP is so much more than just an organisation.

Despite this sense of belonging, financial barriers prevent many young people from participating. Over 20% of young people face financial obstacles in participating due to travel, visa, or other costs.

“I am very excited and grateful to be selected, but the visa and travel expenses were sadly too high for my family.” – an anonymous EYP survey response.

Our crowdfunding campaign is a youth-led initiative, in celebration of our 100 International Sessions milestone, aimed at breaking down these barriers.

Starting from just €10 a month, 100% of your contribution will support participation costs for motivated young people who would otherwise miss out on the EYP experience. Whether it’s a young participant from a remote village in Ukraine, a refugee in Italy, or anyone facing financial challenges in any corner of Europe, your donation can help empower them with the friendships, knowledge, and skills that EYP offers – as it once offered you.

Even the smallest contribution makes a difference. As a thank you, we will feature your name in our event acknowledgments, and if you choose to share your contact details, we will keep you updated on the impact of your support by informing you which delegates have been able to participate at which EYP event thanks to your support. All donors will also receive the EYP annual report.
