Dear friends and supporters, The team at Europe Cares would like to say a very warm and heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported us with your donations throughout the last year.
We have had quite the year with 38,694 people on the move having visited Paréa by the end of 2025 - with 12,912 being children and women. Our cafe has served 45,722 warm lunches and 45,122 drinks. Alongside this, we have welcomed 2,090 women in our Women Space and 858 children in our Child-Friendly Space “The Nest”! Since getting our own minivan in September, we increased the number of trips between camp and Paréa - enabling us to transport around 10,107 vulnerable people from camp to our center and back this year. Additionally, 354 visitors have used our computer space for CV classes and more.
Your ongoing support and generous donations helps us ensure that Paréa remains a vital safe haven for people on the move during a time when human rights violations on Lesvos persists and the presence of NGOs are declining on the island. Thanks to you, our visitors can continue to access essential and holistic services while experiencing a strong sense of community and belonging.
