Preisverleihung
Um die Arbeiten der TheoPrax-/Begabten Ag des Melanchthon Gymnasiums Bretten zu fördern und aktuelle Projekte zu unterstützen nahm die AG in diesem Jahr am Preisausschreiben des Lions Club Bruchsal teil. Bereits 2016 nahm die AG an diesem Preisausschreiben teil, damals belegt die Schülerinnen und Schüler mit dem selben Projekt den 1. Platz. Am Abend des 01.06.2017 haben die drei Gewinner des diesjährigen Preisausschreibens des Lions Club Bruchsal ihre Projekte vor den Mitgliedern des Clubs vorgestellt. Alle Teilnehmer der drei gewinner-Projekte waren zum Abendessen mit den Lions Club Freunden eingeladen, darunter auch die Begabten AG des MGB, welche mit ihrem Projekt der Wasseraufbereitung für Entwicklungsländer den zweiten Preis dotiert mit 600€ gewonnen hat. Der Preis wurde von Professor Dr. Saile und Hans Peter Bopp überreicht. Die Schüler Daniel Schild, Lukas Bunert und Timo Scharli nahmen, als Delegation der Begabten AG den Preis entgegen und stellten anschließend ihre Arbeit vor. Die erneute Vergabe des Preises an dieses Projekt begründete der Lions-Club mit den enormen Neuerungen und Änderungen an der Wasseraufbereitungsanlage im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Sowohl den 1. als auch den 3. Platz belegten in diesem Jahr gruppen des Edith Stein Gymnasiums aus Bretten.

Aiming at supporting the activities of TheoPrax/the science group of the Melanchthon secondary school of Bretten (MGB), and also backing its most recent endeavors, this group participated in the yearly contest of the Lions Club of Bruchsal. In 2016, the MGB science group took part in this competition and earned the first place with the same project. In the night of 01.06.2017, the three winners of the competition organized by the Lions Club of Bruchsal presented their projects to the members of the Club. The members of the three winning projects were invited to dinner with the friends of the Lions Club, including the MGB science group, as they earned the second place in the competition and were awarded with EUR 600. The prize was bestowed by professor Dr. Saile and Hans Peter Bopp. The students Daniel Schild, Lukas Bunert and Timo Scharli reclaimed the prize in representation of the group, and also presented their project. The Lions Club declared that this project was rewarded again because the water treatment mechanism showed bold innovations and modifications in comparison to the previous year. Both first and third places were awarded to the Edith Stein secondary school of Bretten.

Con el fin de apoyar al grupo de ciencias de TheoPrax y el liceo Melanchthon de Bretten (MGB), así como para contribuir a sus proyectos actuales, el grupo de MGB decidió participar en el concurso del Club de Leones de Bruchsal. En 2016, los estudiantes del grupo ya habían participado con el mismo proyecto y obtuvieron el primer lugar. En la noche de 01.06.2017, los tres ganadores del premio anual del Club de Leones de Bruchsal presentaron sus proyectos a los miembros del Club. Los participantes de los tres proyectos ganadores fueron invitados a una cena con los amigos del Club de Leones, incluyendo al grupo de trabajo de MGB, el cual presentó su proyecto para el tratamiento de agua en países en desarrollo y ganó con ello el segundo premio, dotado con EUR 600. El premio fue entregado por el profesor Saile y Hans Peter Bopp. Los estudiantes Daniel Schild, Lukas Bunert y Timo Scharli recibieron el premio en representación del grupo de MGB y presentaron su trabajo a continuación. El premio dado a este proyecto fue justificado por el Club de Leones en virtud de la gran cantidad de novedades e innovaciones hechas al dispositivo de tratamiento de agua, en comparación con el año pasado. Tanto el primer como el tercer puesto fueron otorgados al liceo Edith Stein de Bretten.
